B.R.E.A.D. — Board Riders Engineering and Design — is the student club at the heart of Gone Boarding's community mission. These are the riders, builders, and creators who take everything the Wheat Ridge Board Factory stands for and carry it out into the world as board ambassadors, representing their program, their school, and their sport everywhere they go.
B.R.E.A.D. students organize grassroots meetups at local skateparks, ski hills, and lakes, showing up as mentors for new riders who are just finding their footing. Whether someone is dropping in for the first time or figuring out how to read a wave, there is a B.R.E.A.D. member nearby who remembers exactly what that moment felt like and wants to make it a good one. Beyond the hill and the pavement, these students also volunteer at community events throughout the Wheat Ridge area, showing up as proud faces of a program that believes board sports belong to everyone.
B.R.E.A.D. is proof that the culture we build inside the classroom doesn't stay there. It rides out into the community, finds new people, and brings them in. If you are involved with a local event, organization, or gathering that could use some enthusiastic, skilled, and genuinely passionate young volunteers, we would love to connect. Reach out and let's see what we can build together.
