Wheat Ridge High School Board Factory is proud to be a recipient of the First Push Syndicate's Get On Board Grant, which awarded our program a full pod of skateboards and protective equipment to bring into local P.E. programs. The Get On Board Grant exists to remove the single biggest barrier standing between a kid and their first ride by putting complete, ready-to-use skate setups directly into schools that otherwise wouldn't have access to them, no fundraising required, no equipment budget needed.

First Push Syndicate's mission runs deeper than gear. They believe that skateboarding builds confidence, resilience, and community, and that every young person deserves the chance to find that for themselves. By pairing equipment grants with mentorship, they make sure the first push isn't just a moment but the beginning of something lasting.

At Wheat Ridge High School, we are putting that mission into action through our own students, who bring the boards, the helmets, the pads, and their own hard-earned experience to local elementary and middle school programs as mentors and role models. If you know a school in the Wheat Ridge area that would love to get their students on boards, we would be thrilled to connect. Reach out and let's ride together.
